Kurono Rin is a female villain oc placed within the My Hero Academia universe. She is seen siding and remaining loyal to the Shie Hassaikai with her brother Chronostasis to an unhealthy, sadistic level.

This woman is a type of character who more known through stories passed verbally than one anyone has actually seen. One main reason for this, is that most people she comes across outside of the compound don't leave her sight alive. It also helps that during the Hero Raid of the Shie Hassaikai, Rin was able to make it out unnoticed by both luck and thanks to her immense levels of skill in regards to stealth. However, because she did live there for most of her life, traces of her were left behind, leaving heroes to be on the lookout for her, but not exactly knowing what to look for.OUTSIDE of the yakuza, the twin puts on a facade of a demanding, bratty diva that roams the city in search of new things to try and visit while she attends college. Hardly anyone actually knows anything about her, save for whatever heroes might happen to have a strange feeling about her.WITHIN the yakuza, Kurono is known as someone who is cold blooded and snarky, often waving around her weapon of choice ( either a kyoketsu-shoge or handgun ) as though it isn't a dangerous weapon. She's quick to act with even quicker reflexes; not really seeing anyone else who dwells within the Shie Hassaikai as a threat aside from her own brother and Overhaul himself. Speaking of, those two happen to be the only two who are rarely on the receiving end of her rude behavior and cruelty, Rin reserving her respect for the two of them for personal, but obvious, reasons.——————————————Kurono Rin is a cold blooded yet hot tempered villainous woman who works for the Shie Hassaikai with her twin brother Chronostasis; someone whom she often looks up to, seeing as how she was raised. She is constantly seen having an icy and indifferent appearance to those she deems beneath her.Kurono is often found telling strangers she's interacting with ( within or outside of the yakuza ) to call her “ Kura “ instead of giving her true name, keeping her true self hidden for an unknown reason.When it comes to the League of Villains, or anyone outside of the Yakuza group in general, she almost always has them refer to her as her alias. Reasons for this are still unknown.With an unstable mental health level being the norm for the girl, it isn't all that uncommon to see her snapping in verbal and/or physical retaliation to things she finds unpsetting, or to things that simply don't align with her beliefs and ideals. Some have even seen her get triggered by certain phrases or cocky comments from the less fortunate arrogant lackeys who once worked for the Hassaikai. This brings along negative consequences for anyone on the receiving end of her " episodes " as the woman is regarded as someone merciless, more often than not ending with her being physically violent with her outbursts. Plenty of yakuza members have fallen to her hand because of these instances.NOTE: THIS IS NOT SCHIZOPHRENIA BUT INSTEAD A MIX OF SEVERE PTSD AND PSYCHOPATHY.

In her early life and even until she reached adulthood, the younger of the Kurono twins was trained to be weapon from the very start, but was pushed even further once the truth was revealed by a doctor, leading to her unstable and sadistic nature to grow over the years. Having been raised in the yakuza along with her twin under harsh conditions and regulations, Rin was forced to undergo ruthless courses to build her abilities in every conceivable way her parents could find, all to " make up for her lack of a quirk. " This would lead to her not only being incredibly capable with her physical abilities but also in her intelligence, only st the expense of the state of her sanity being . . . Less than ideal. This of which has yet to be properly diagnosed openly and instead left to speculation and rumor.Regardless of all the hardships she's been dealt in life by her parents and the lifestyle she was forced to have as a child, she follows her brother wherever he goes, this leading her to stay by Overhaul's side from the moment the older of the twins declared his loyalty. This is where she has been for the majority of her recent life, and where she will remain until her brother's command says otherwise. In an uncanny sort of way, at least in rumor, it seems her devotion to the Shie Hassaikai, or to Overhaul, is stronger than that of her brother's.Here, main her role is simple: being an undercover informant for Overhaul. With her true identity nearly wiped completely from all databases from early childhood, this makes for easy work of hiding herself in plain sight as she pretends to be someone she isn't within the civilian world— always putting on the persona of a diva - like brat who is still studying in college. Like this, she is able to keep an eye on what the world outside is doing without making herself suspicious to the public or to any prying heroic eyes.However, due to cultural influences, she is not seen as nearly as important as what her brother is; serving as both nurse and seamstress for the gang, yet always sitting in wait as a tool for Overhaul to use as he pleases for dirty work outsid eof being his main informant. She is more regarded as someone who handles things others can't, as she is well - known for getting any job asked of her done with little to no issues or failures.

Rin was never registered as quirkless, as her parents did not want to face the humiliation it would bring to their family. They pulled this off with bribes and exploitation of their yakuza connections.With this, her entire existence was basically wiped from all files, leaving her to be a ghost figure of sorts when heroes try to track her identification.

To no one's surprise, Rin suffers from some clear mental disorders. She, mostly when triggered, can be seen struggling against things no one else cans we or hear. Things that obviously torment her and cause her pain and anger. Things that make her unpredictability even more dangerous than it already is.These, for lack of a better term, " episodes " don't normally last long, but are still very evident regardless of the situation. They are something that more so disables her than aids her, unfortunately.

It’s briefly mentioned that Kurono dealt with bullying as a child and often got into fights because of them, though it’s hard to tell if it’s from her lack of a quirk or if it was for her family’s involvement with the yakuza lifestyle.

It can often be seen that Rin has some sort of attachment to arachnids. It's been hinted at that this is because she sees herself to be like them, in the sense that most people tend to dislike them for " being exactly as they are. "

Her entire body is littered with scars she's collected over the years from what can only really be described as torturous training to become to " perfect sister " for her twin. These are almost always covered with some form of make up or clothing as to avoid suspicion when in her civilian disguise.

Kurono is known to prefer hand guns over most weapons, finding them to be the easiest to handle when in a fight. If left no other choice, she will opt for using her kyoketsu - shoge or her own physical capabilities to win the fight.
